Those Dastardly Deeds:
Using Criminal Records as Genealogy Resources
Christie Wright
Christie will discuss how to access and utilize some often-overlooked genealogy sources: historic criminal records. She came across these resources while researching her “South Park Perils” book on Park County over the course of four years. Christie also discovered that these resources held useful information while doing a joint indexing project with the Foothills Genealogy Society at the Colorado State Archives in 2011-2012. Don’t miss out hearing how to discover if some of your ancestors may have walked on the wild side!
